"Reviving" Design Museum
"Reviving" And "Awakening" have essential differences. Awakening is merely a quantitative change, while reviving is a qualitative transformation. Awakening is merely recognizing design, while reviving symbolizes a deep understanding and continuous practice of creative design. And reviving signifies empowering creative design to promote the rise and flourishing of Harbin city.
The "Reviving" Design Museum is divided into seven exhibition areas: what is design, tracing the origin, city empowerment, industrial engine, the beauty of life, creative ecology, and creative design exhibition. Through a gradual cognitive exploration, it leads people from basic concepts to design history, from design practice to macro policies, from static exhibitions to dynamic installations, from "Awakening" to "Reviving", and ultimately achieve the value transmission of design knowledge.
In this process, what we gain is not only an "Awakening" Of design awareness but also, with the progression of cognition, a realization of the power of design, accomplishing the qualitative transformation of "Reviving". In the future development of cities, industrial upgrades, learning and life, we will practice and explore the infinite possibilities of design. Ultimately, echoing the exhibition theme of " Reviving", it leads to a re-understanding, rethinking, and re-practicing of creative design, as well as a redefinition, innovation, and breakthrough in empowering products, industries, cities, and culture through creative design.
